"There is too much work today,
let me return to sleep," pray
oft to the Daeva of sloth
those held in Her drowsy sway.

Twice comes She to the world, gay
to indulge in rest and lay
down lazily, more than loth
to work, to avoid the fray.

One must rest so one may play;
one must rest or one will pay.
This is how, I say in troth,
the predator catches prey.
