Mother earth, great Goddess: abundant art Thou,
blessed we, praise Thee! Let us eat!
She ate so much at the feast,
Her retch was great - She'd been replete.
Her gorge brought forth a divine show:
Seven girls, five boys sprang up complete.
Every kind of grain, rice and millet
their names, the siblings, corns and wheat.
They all came to our peoples' home,
they each gave out what was mete.
Great Goddess, Mother Earth: we praise Thee!
Great is Thy bounty, abundance is sweet!
