Banḑamma

When the rains come again, Mother, let us be
safe from disease in the flood waters, we pray;
from the illnesses let us be safe and free,
let us rise again healthy to meet the day,
let us the dangers around us clearly see,
show us the path to virtue, show us the way.
Let us entertain You in our homes, Goddess,
and in the fields sacrifice that You will bless.
